OA Components

The EDFA and Raman Amplifiers are typically constructed by connecting specialty fibers (e.g. Er-doped fiber) and transmission fibers with other (passive/active) components for operation. Rayzer provides a complete suite of fuse-based couplers and pump combiners, both Thin-Film-Filter (TFF) and Fused Bionical Tapered (FBT) based wideband WDMs, Gain-Flattening Filter (GFF) based, crystal based optical isolators and integrated/hybrid products. We leads the trend of miniaturization and integration with new mini series products for the next generation optical amplifier. Our advantages include excellent performance specifications, one stop-complete design OEM and ODM capabilities, and low-cost vertical integration solutions for the optical gain block, controlled amplifier modules, systems and subsystem.

Mux / Demux

Manage bandwidth and expand capacity of existing fiber optic backbones through Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) that simultaneously combines and transmits multiple signals at different wavelengths in the same fiber.

A key advantage of WDM is that it is both protocol and bit-rate independent. WDM-based networks can transmit data in IP, ATM, SONET/SDH, and Ethernet, and handle bit rates between 100 Mb/s and 40 Gb/s. Therefore, WDM-based networks can carry different types of traffic at different speeds over an optical channel. It creates a less costly method of quick response to customers’ bandwidth demands and protocol changes.

Rayzer provides a wide selection of thin-film filter, planer-waveguide, and fuse-based WDM products to meet various channel count and spacing requirements.
